We are so excited and happy about this awesome project we had put together last summer and are finally able to share it with you!

The chosen location (handpicked by yours truly and photographer Svetlana Vesnaya from Purple Tree Photography) was a dream! After hours of driving around looking for the right spot, we came across a deliciously breathtaking apple farm – a definite love at first sight, this was the one!

On the day of our shoot we were kindly blessed by the apple gods with some natural light, which was key in developing these ripened pictures (last time I make a fruit related play on words I promise!). We couldn’t have asked for better weather.

By working extremely close with our Purple Tree team, a lot of thought and effort was invested into every single detail. With our minds combined, we created a chique vintage theme, which was perfect like honey is to apples with our chosen location.

Our colour scheme included tones of pink, beige, burgundy and unexpected hints of royal blue. For our main focal point we had chosen a pomegranate (not an apple) due to its unique texture and rich colour – this was the feeling we were aiming for.

We began with chique-vintage-like ‘save the date’ invitations which encompassed much of the elements of our entire event.

The table setting was put together with textured white antique china, oversized designer wine glasses, a collection of candles, and of course my favorite part – the floral arrangements designed and created by yours truly.

On our part, we knew that we had to create something magical that would work harmoniously with the natural setting. We put together a gorgeous large centerpiece containing 36 different types of flowers and greens, which included shades of pinks, creams, greens, and burgundy.

Our bouquet was made using a combination of peonies, stock and spray roses, wrapped in a beautiful satin royal blue ribbon and finished off with a silver antique detail to give it that soft and romantic vintage feel. As for the boutonnieres, we used berries and puffs of cotton to keep it with the rustic vintage feel, yet still keeping it soft.

The table couldn’t be complete without a little something sweet! Dazzling, mouth-watering cake and cupcakes grazed our table top, graciously created by Rimma Teper. It made the whole table setting only so much sweeter.

Our stylist Sarah Kelpin did an amazing job at hand picking the outfits for our gorgeous couple, which really helped tie our entire theme together. Our hair and MUA, Erin Heather, showed us her magic on set look after look! Last but not least, the beautiful couple of the main event, Halyna Natalya and Art Aganov were true troopers in making it till the very end with an amazing energy and great attitude – not to mention good looks! We wish you all the best!

Bravo to the incredible Purple Tree Photography team for capturing such stuning images and video. Special thank you to Svetlana Vesnaya for the time and work put into this project, you’ve done it once again!
